WATCH: MS Dhoni hits a six off the back foot!
MS Dhoni has silenced all his critics today, hitting a well constructed half century, pacing his innings to perfection, rotating the strike early on, taking the game deep and the unleashing in the last few overs.
Dhoni first showed signs of aggression when he danced down the track to Smutts, smoking him over the long off fielder, deep into the stands.
But after that it was typical Dhoni, picking up the ones and twos and waiting for the right moment to launch himself.
The highlight of the day was Dhoni’s punch of the backfoot, that sailed over the cover boundary for a huge six.
It was Dhoni at his best, using brute force to hit the ball out of the park, something that had made him such a likeable figure in the early days of his career.

MS Dhoni and his fans would be ecstatic about Dhoni dishing out this innings of genius today, as a lot of people had been calling for his head in the T20 format.
Match Situation
Klaasen is leading South Africa’s charge in pursuit of 189, playing some exquisite shots to put the pressure back on the Indian bowling unit.
Duminy is playing the sheet anchor role at the other end and it seems like if this partnership can continue for another 3-4 overs, the game could well and truly be in South Africa’s bag.
With Bumrah not in the side, Bhuvi will have to be at his absolute best to keep the South African middle order at bay!
