Dhoni plays with daughter Ziva

Dhoni plays with daughter Ziva: In an Instagram post, the Indian cricketer is seen as playing with his daughter at a beach.

Former India captain and current wicket-keeper batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni has posted a video of him playing with his daughter Ziva Dhoni at a beach on his official Instagram account.

It isn’t the first time that Dhoni has uploaded a video with his daughter. In the recent month or so, Dhoni was first seen as becoming her ‘bugs bunny‘ and then was spotted matching dance steps with her.

Having registered the least number of runs in ODIs in a calendar year on a personal front, the year 2018 wasn’t a fruitful one for Dhoni. However, the 37-year old cricketer would be relieved after finding him back in India’s T20I squad for the series against New Zealand next year.

Dhoni had last played for India during the ODI series against West Indies almost a couple of months ago. For a vital member of the Indian team going into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, it will be intriguing to watch how he fares in the upcoming ODI series against Australia.

In the new year, Dhoni has 13 ODIs, three T20Is and a full season of the Indian Premier League before the World Cup begins. In which remains a significant period, Dhoni would be looking to gain his form back for he has it in him to contribute significantly during the World Cup.
