Watch: Naseem Shah knock Luke Ronchi’s stumps with a brutal Yorker during the PSL match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.

Quetta Gladiators beat Islamabad United by 5 wickets to claim yet another victory in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Ben Cutting was awarded the man of the match award for his 17 ball 42 not out. He also picked out a wicket in his 3 overs.

However, he wasn’t the only star in the victory. Pakistan’s teenage bowling sensation Naseem Shah also played a vital role in the win. The rising star bowled four overs and only conceded 23 runs. More importantly, he picked two wickets, one of which came of an unplayable delivery.

An on fire Luke Ronchi, who had already hit 11 of 3 balls, decided to step out on the very first ball of the 2nd over. Shah, quickly noticed the batsman shuffling to his leg side and bowled a yorker that went on to crash the stumps.

Shah would then pick another wicket, yet another bowled, this time Dawid Malan, in the last ball of the 4th over. However, Islamabad United recovered from the early dismissals and recorded a score of 187 for 7, riding on Colin Ingram’s 63 of 40 balls.

The target seemed enough, especially when they had the Gladiators reeling at 133 for 5 in 15.1 overs. With all their top order batsmen dismissed and an asking rate of over 11, the game was thought to be over until Ben Cutting pulled out the fireworks and guided his side to an astonishing victory.
