Watch Pedro score an outrageous backheel goal against Red Bull Salzburg

Watch Pedro score an outrageous backheel goal against Red Bull Salzburg in Chelsea’s pre-season friendly ahead of the English Premier League.

Chelsea had a rough start to their summer losing their biggest star, Eden Hazard, to Real Madrid. With their transfer ban, the London side cannot even look to replace the Belgian and will have to look within their existing squad for answers.

Many have touted Christian Pulisic as a possible replacement for their former playmaker. However, his inexperience has been a worry. He is only 20 years old after all. Chelsea may not have to look too far though as they look to replace their most prolific scorer.

Hazard was known for creatively hunting for goals while he was at the Stamford bridge. Pedro tonight, has scored a goal that personifies creativity itself. The Spanish winger landed a stunner that left everybody shocked tonight.

Chelsea are currently playing Red Bull Salzburg and are currently leading handsomely with the score 4-1 in their favor. Chelsea were 3-0 at one point but RB Salzburg pulled one back in the 50th minute. Just when it looked like they could perhaps mount a comeback, Pedro scored a sensational goal that has most likely left his opponents deflated.

In the 57th minute of the match, Mateo Kovacic flicked a pass in the middle as Chelsea finally got the ball away from their half. Ross Barkley then took control of the ball before swinging it beautifully towards the goal. The ball found Pedro who scored the 4th goal with a miraculous backheel.

Under new manager Frank Lampard, Chelsea are hoping to mount a comeback to the top of the league from which they have been brutally pushed aside by Liverpool and Manchester City. It all depends on Chelsea’s on Mr. Dependable, Lampard, who will have to instil confidence in his men, who haven’t had the best of days in the premier league, since winning it in 2017.

Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
