PV Sindhu’s brand value has sky rocketed after her performances in the Rio Olympics, Word Super Series events and the World Badminton Championships. She has been signed up by Gatorade India as the brand ambassador and has been working with them in order to promote Indian sport(and their product, of course) through various mediums.
PV Sindhu has also been working towards promoting other sports, and has been involved in the promotional activities of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, even being present for the draw of the tournament.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup kicks off on the 6th of October in Delhi, with the Indian team playing on the opening day. All of India’s games will take place in New Delhi and India would be hoping to scrape through a tough group, comprising of USA, Colombia and Ghana.
I took #JuggleLikeAChamp Challenge to show my support to our Indian Team for #FIFAU17WC. I nominate @SonuSood for the challenge. pic.twitter.com/4MWTgK47fh

The government has been working tirelessly in order to promote the U-17 World Cup, getting schools, kids and athletes from other sports involved.
The social media team has now started the “Juggle like a champ” hashtag, where prominent Indian celebrities try juggling a football and then nominating a fellow celebrity to take up the challenge. This is being done in order to create some online buzz regarding the event.
PV Sindhu did not quite ace the challenge but did fairly well, and also nominated actor Sonu Sood to take up the challenge.
India kickoff their U-17 World Cup campaign against USA on October 6th and would be hoping to start on a winning note. India waits with bated breath as a lot of people in the system feel that the U-17 World Cup could pave way for greater things for Indian football.
