Ravi Shastri’s offensive comment: The Indian coach was seen as speaking offensive language during an interview after India’s win.

India coach Ravi Shastri gave the impression of rejoicing in India’s 31-run victory over Australia in the first Test of the series. In which was India’s first-ever victory in the first Test of a series in Australia, celebrations were bound to happen.

Other than just celebrating on the ground, both the players and the support staff were seen giving interview to the broadcaster. Given the occasion, it was understood that these thing would follow.

During an interview, Shastri perhaps failed to control his emotions as he ended up saying something which he shouldn’t have on national television. Shastri’s words have received mixed responses on the social media.

“Thodi der ke liye goti mooh mein tha!” Shastri was quoted as saying to former India captain and his teammate Sunil Gavaskar. Watch the full video below:
