Watch: Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes makes Bayern Defender Niklas Sule look foolish with a stunning free kick

Watch: Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes makes Bayern Defender Niklas Sule look foolish with a stunning free kick in their pre-season match.

Real Madrid’s first match ahead of the upcoming season ended in a deflating loss to German Champions Bayern Munich. There were still a lot of positives to take from the match. None as impressive though, as new signee Rodrygo Goes’ freekick stunner.

Playing his first game for Real Madrid, Rodrygo scored the only goal of the match for the Los Blancos. As was mentioned before, the goal came of a magnificent freekick. However, what makes it even more impressive is that Bayern Munich defender, Niklas Sule, attempted to get inside the 18-year-old’s head. The young Brazilian did not let it affect him though as he placed the ball on the top corner on the Goal Keeper’s side, making Sule look like a clown in the process.

Apart from the Brazilian, Japanese sensation, Takefusa Kubo had a brilliant game too. The young Japanese remained a constant threat and looks like a good prospect for Real Madrid. Eden Hazard was also brilliant in his debut. However, Karim Benzema faltered in the frontline.

Corentin Tolisso, Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry scored a goal each as Bayern piled three goals to compound Real Madrid’s misery. The Big names in the side will have to start pulling their socks up and carry their weight. The young guns though, have reassured the fans that the future of the club is in good hands.
