Liverpool were hosting Leicester City tonight in what promised to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams capable of dishing out some very exciting performances.
And that is exactly how the first half panned out, with some end-to-end football coming to the fore, as Leicester and Liverpool matched each other attack for attack.
But Leicester went into half time with the advantage, as Jamie Vardy came up with a typical Vardy goal to give Leicester the lead at Anfield.
Mo Salah, who has been prolific this season, found it difficult to put away two rather easy chances today. And it seemed like Salah would not be able to get onto the scoresheet today, but the second half proved to be quite the opposite for the Egyptian magician.
Mo Salah equalised for Liverpool, cutting in and beating three defenders to stick his shot in the bottom right corner.
And then, a few minutes later, Salah beat Maguire with ease, who was sticking too close to Salah and then unleashed a beautiful finish to give Liverpool the lead against Leicester.
