It has become a tradition to react the way Pakistan have been since their 89-run loss (DLS Method) against India at The Old Trafford in Manchester. The fans of the neighbouring nations leave no stones unturned to destructively criticize their players and even their families after any sort of loss in a sporting event, particularly in the game of Cricket.
The fans just cannot gulp down the fact that the prime reason for the existence of any sport is the ultimate ‘consequence’ it brings along with it- which can only be decided if one team wins and the other loses.
The so-called Pakistan fans, in their bid to criticise their senior player Shoaib Malik, had even dragged in his wife- Sania Mirza when they shared a video and picture of the duo visiting a sheesha cafe, which they claimed to be shot just the night prior to the India vs Pakistan World Cup match on June 16.
Shoaib Akhtar comes in defence
Legendary Pakistan pacer, Shoaib Akhtar has now spoken in defence of Sania Mirza. The 43-year-old has not likened the fact that the Tennis star is unnecessarily being dragged into a controversy which has nothing to do with her.
Akhtar, in his previous video had come down heavily on the Pakistan Cricket Team, particularly on their skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed after the team’s loss against India. Posting yet another video on his YouTube channel, Akhtar has now called Sania a a “badkismat khatoon” (unlucky woman) who was made to face a bad experience just because Team Pakistan has lost a cricket match.
“If Shoaib Malik hasn’t performed, drop him. But why bring Sania into this,” Akhtar further commented.
Sarfaraz made the same mistake what kohli made back in CT17. Won toss and bowl first. #PAKvsIND

He also reiterated his previous outrageous comments on Pakistan’s loss, and admitted that India is a better team, who won the game due to some pretty ordinary on field decisions.
He also stated that as per the overall records in ODIs, Pakistan are still ahead of its neighbours. Thus, it does not mean that the Indian team cannot be outplayed. As far as the 7-0 record in World Cup matches are concerned, Akhtar opined that it is just unfortunate that we (Pakistan) have not been able to win against them even once, more than anything else.
