Solskjaer's ad featuring the Singhs

Solskjaer’s ad featuring the Singhs: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been brilliant on his return to Manchester United so far.

Manchester United have been brilliant under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer so far. The side has won all of their games under the Norwegian so far, proceeding to the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 victory over Arsenal.

The players have stepped up brilliantly under Solskjaer and have praised the interim manager’s style of play and management.

The Manchester United fans have also appreciated their caretaker manager so far, with calls for giving him a permanent role already picking up the pace.

Meanwhile, an old video has recently gone viral where Solskjaer is seen with the famous Singhs of Old Trafford for a show on MUTV, the club’s official channel.

Solskjaer’s ad featuring the Singhs:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has quickly become the fan-favourite at Old Trafford – not that he wasn’t already, but his new role as interim manager at the club has earned him an even higher recognition from the club supporters.

The fans have now dug deep on the internet to find a video of their former star with the famous Singhs of Old Trafford, who have been a regular feature in United’s home games over the years.

The video was shot for an MUTV show prior to Solskaer’s testimonial match in 2008. Manchester United played against Espanyol in the game on August 2, winning 1-0 through an 82nd-minute winner from Fraizer Campbell.

Here’s the video of the ad:

The ‘Singhs’ sing ‘You’re my Solskjaer,’ the famous chant on the Norwegian star.

Solskjaer joined Manchester United in 1996 and spent 11 seasons at Old Trafford, before retiring at the club. His later years were marred with injuries, which forced him to take early retirement at the age of 34.

However, he remained with the club and coached the youth side, grooming players like Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard who are now in the side’s first-team.

After spending most of his managerial career at Molde with a brief stint at Premier League side Cardiff City, Solskjaer made his return to Manchester United in December 2018 after the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

He has won all the games under his charge so far.
