WATCH : Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma arrive for their Mumbai reception
The last leg of the great Indian wedding carnival took place tonight in Mumbai, as Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma held a grand bash in Mumbai for their industry friends.
The beloved couple got hitched in Milan earlier this month, as Virat and Anushka tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, far away from the prying media.
The pair made their first public appearance in India a few days back in New Delhi, which was attended by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Today’s function was huge celebration in Mumbai, as some of the biggest names in the country today came to give their blessings to the newly weds.
The whose-who of Bollywood made their presence felt at the mega event, as the paparazzi thronged in numbers to the grand reception.
The spacious Astor Ballroom of the St. Regis Hotel hosted the function, and it can host 300 guests. The ballroom is located on the ninth floor of the hotel, and has 23 foot-high ceilings and crystal chandeliers.
It has an area of 6,433 square feet, and is separated into three sections, a long hallway, a pre-function area, the central ballroom and the special Astor Terrace.
As the cameras flashed the sought after pair, Virat and Anushka came out to pose for the media. The power couple looked amazing in their expensive designer clothes, as Virushka dazzled in front of the world media.
