Watch the footage of a bunch of West Ham United fan abusing Mohamed Salah racially.

Liverpool and Mohamed Salah have not had a great start to the New Year. The Egyptian International has scored three goals in two games but has not found the back of the net on three occasions against Manchester City, Leicester City, and West Ham United.

The Reds were forced to settle for a draw after Sadio Mane opened the scoring for the visitors, and Michail Antonio scored the equalizer in the first half.

After this result, the lead at the top has been cut short to just three points, and they might fall to second place should Manchester City secure a victory over Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday.

Leaving the on-field incidents, the Reds have been dealt with a huge blow with injuries piling up frequently. Apart from this, footage from the London Stadium emerged when West Ham fan was abusing Mohamed Salah racially which has infuriated the footballing world.

In the video, the Hammers fans was caught abusing, “Fck off Muslim. Fck off Muslim C*nt.”

There is always a minority in every fanbase who cause unnecessary chaos by abusing fellow human beings needlessly.

West Ham United spokesman has already confirmed that the club is aware of the incident and will launch into investigations soon.

The FA also confirmed they are aware of the incident and had shared the video with West Ham for investigation “as a matter of urgency”.

In a statement shared, West Ham spokesman quoted

“At West Ham United, we have a zero tolerance policy to any form of violent or abusive behaviour.

“We are an inclusive football club. Regardless of age, race, religion or belief, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or disability, everyone is warmly welcomed at London Stadium.

“Anyone identified committing an offence will have their details passed to the police and will face a lifetime ban from London Stadium. There is no place for this kind of behaviour at our stadium.”

The Metropolitan police also confirmed the awareness of the incident and issued a statement.

“We are aware of a video in which it appears racial abuse is being directed at a player at a West Ham vs Liverpool game at London Stadium on Monday, 4 February.

“Officers are in the process of reviewing the footage. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.

“Anyone who witnesses inappropriate behaviour during a match is urged to bring it to the attention of a steward or police officer.”
