WATCH: Yuvraj Singh rewinds the clock with match-winning innings for Maratha Arabians in T10 League

Yuvraj Singh rewinds the clock: The former Indian all-rounder played a match-winning innings in the T10 League yesterday.

During the 23rd match of the ongoing third season of the T10 League between Maratha Arabians and Bengal Tigers in Abu Dhabi, Maratha Arabians all-rounder Yuvraj Singh put on display a quintessential match-winning innings to beat the opposition by 7 wickets.

Chasing a 107-run target, a brisk 59-run partnership between Yuvraj and Najibullah Zadran powered the Arabians to victory in the penultimate over. While Zadran’s 36* (15) with the help of four fours and two sixes played a major role in the stand, Yuvraj was equally good with his 23* (12) with the help of a four and two sixes.

Coming in to bat at No. 4 in the fourth over, Yuvraj took on Qais Ahmed in the seventh over after hitting him for a four and a six. The shot of Yuvraj’s innings came on the penultimate delivery of the match when he flicked Bengal captain Thisara Perera for a six over deep square leg.

After Perera won the toss and elected to bat, Bengal Tigers posted 106/7 in 10 overs on the back of wicket-keeper batsman Tom Moores scoring 43* (26) with the help of six fours.

Having won four out of their six matches, Maratha Arabians are at the top of the points table. On the other hand, Tigers are at No. 3 with three wins in six matches.
