Weather forecast for CSK’s match against Mumbai Indians
In classic Mumbai Indians fashion, Rohit Sharma’s side are now facing the possibility of winning all their matches of they need to qualify for the playoffs.
While they lost several close encounters initially, MI’s last defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad was a severe blow to their morale, as their power packed batting unit could not chase down a paltry target of 118 at the Wankhede.
Some people feel that their last defeat was one loss too much for this side, as Rohit Sharma will now need to conjure up something special from his side if they wish to make it into the final four.
CSK on the other hand are having a wonderful return to the IPL, as they are well on their way to qualifying for the playoffs this season.
The ultimate heart stoppers, almost every CSK match has been decided in the last over, as the legendary MS Dhoni has himself played a couple of vintage Dhoni innings to take his side home from near improbable positions.
One can only admire Dhoni for what he has been doing with CSK, as they were written off as ‘has beens’ before the tournament began. With their old magic still intact, CSK could very well make a deep run in this year’s competition, as they have already shown that they can do the impossible.
With clear skies expected for tonight’s match, we should expect a full game between CSK and MI in Pune.

Let’s hope for Rohit Sharma and MI’s sake that they pick up a win and stay alive in the competition!
