“We’re unpredictable, teams don’t know what is going on in the draft”: KuroKy; Nigma take down Team Secret in DPC Season 2. Thanks to the addition of ILTW, it seems Nigma has finally found new energy. They won their first game in DPC Season 2 against the formidable Team Secret.
Nigma decided to add ILTW to their roster after benching their former midlaner, W33. With this roster change, Miracle is now playing the midlane, and ILTW is joining as a carry player. Many fans are surely happy that Amer “Miracle” al-Barkawi is dominating in the midlane against some of the world’s best.
Team Secret & Nigma faced each other in their first game of DPC Season 2. Both teams are in the upper-bracket of the Europe region. The match was highly anticipated, and many fans were waiting to see ILTW in action for Nigma in their first pro game together. ILTW did not disappoint one bit.
ILTW & Miracle seem to be having very good in-game chemistry when it comes to making moves around the map. Below, you can find a tweet with the draft for the first game of the series. One swift teamfight gave Nigma, the advantage of a free Aegis and in a few minutes, the game was over.

The second game was a little bit more enjoyable to watch. Miracle decided to mess with Secret and drafted a Sand King mid against Nisha’s Void Spirit. Nigma ran rampant, closing out the game in 27 minutes with a 31-9 score.

Nigma vs Secret: Kuroky in the post-match interview
In the post-match interview, Kuroky, the captain of Nigma revealed that ILTW had been playing a lot of Pub games in the last 2 days. He also went on to elaborate about the difference between playing in a LAN tournament and from their own homes.
The panel, led by Sheever, also enquired about how Kuroky was feeling about the current roster. Nigma’s captain replied saying that his job was to make ILTW’s life comfortable at Team Nigma, and as of now, there haven’t been any issues whatsoever.
Talking about their mindset going into DPC Season 2, Kuro explained that this team they’re not looking to just win. Nigma wants to smash & destroy their opponents on the Dota 2 battlefield.
There is still a lot more Dota 2 action coming up. DPC Season 2 will go on till mid-May, and Nigma still have a few impressive teams to take down.
