TheSportsRush brings West Ham vs Manchester United highlights, as United’s poor run of form continues in the Premier League.
Manchester United are yet to bag a win since the end of the international break earlier this month, and suffered their second defeat this week. West Ham United cruised past Jose Mourinho’s men 3-1 at the London Stadium.
Jose Mourinho’s played a 3-5-2 formation in the first half, which seemingly backfired as the centre-back trio of Smalling, Lindelof and McTominay was hardly effective in evading the attacking threats.
West Ham took the lead in early in the first half, before doubling it seconds before the half-time whistle.
Manchester United pulled one back after a change in formation through Marcus Rashford, but Arnautovic scored for West Ham again to put the scoreline at 3-1.
Jose Mourinho’s side have only scored 10 points from seven Premier League matches, which is the joint lowest with David Moyes’ side in 2013/14. The goal difference for Manchester United stands at a meager -2.
Here are the twitter reactions from a disappointing loss for Manchester United:
I’m surprised so many are buying Mourinho’s rhetoric and ‘narrative’ of players vs club when we’ve already seen two examples of it at Real and Chelsea and, on both occasions, how the players stayed and proved hugely successful after his departure.

There’s some opportunity for a few ‘better send out a search party for Man Utd’ or ‘MISSING: Paul Pogba’ gags but to be honest United have actually been too sh*t.

Watch our players on international break and watch them playing for United. They’re not ‘shit’ or ‘not good enough’, they’re just robots in a rigid system without being given the freedom to enjoy playing here.

United fans starting to get annoyed. Chanting “attack, attack, attack” from the away end. Pinched a line from Pogba’s mixed zone interview.

Can point to United’s failure to not back Mourinho and sign a £70m centre-back but enough quality in that squad to get something out of games against Brighton, Wolves, Derby and West Ham. Worrying when your go-to tactic is still Young’s delivery and Fellaini’s presence #mufc

This commentator legit said “Manchester United undressed” as Arnautovic slid it in.

Would love to see what Manchester United do in training. Per spend on wages and transfer fees, must be pound for pound one of the worst Premier League performances ever.
I have zero idea what they are trying to do abd that ultimately comes from the man organising training.
