When will Brock Lesnar return and who will he face? The Beast Incarnate is yet to make an appearance since his loss at Wrestlemania.

Brock Lesnar was last seen at the main event of Wrestlemania 36 defending his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Psychopath defeated the Beast Incarnate to become the first ever British WWE Champion. Lesnar on the other hand, went into his yearly post-Wrestlemania hiatus.

Many have discussed if the promotion has seen the last of the former UFC heavyweight champion. Former Raw manager Eric Bischoff has even chirped in with his opinion suggesting that Lesnar may himself itch for a return after a while. Tom Colohue, however, is of the opinion that a return may be sooner in the cards.

When will Brock Lesnar return and who will he face?

Colohue has reported that WWE officials are hoping to welcome fans back into their shows by August. Coincidentally, August is the same month they host their 2nd biggest show of the year; Summer Slam. Lesnar is seen by many as a top draw and could be used as a crowd puller if the situation changes by then.

“In news for the summer around August time, the WWE, with now everything changing as per state by state, as per the COVID-19 pandemic, the WWE is feeling optimistic that August might be in time to have the crowds back and have a show at an arena,” Colohue wrote.

“Brock Lesnar has been penciled in for an appearance if they are able to open in time for SummerSlam. We may be seeing The Beast Incarnate back sooner than we think.

It may be worth noting that due to his reputation as a huge crowd puller, the source adds that if the Government does not allow the crowd to attend shows by August then it is likely that Lesnar’s next appearance could also be postponed.

In regards to Lesnar will face, the WWE may finally arrange a showdown between him and Bobby Lashley. The former MMA fighter recently  talked with talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy. He revealed that the chances for a match between them was quite high.

“I think eventually the dots will be connected and I think right now with the right people in the right places, I think a lot of really big things could be happening,” Lashley said.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
