Messi was earlier reported to be injured after he picked up a calf injury before the start of the season and remained out of the squad up until now.
But now it is reported that the Argentine International is now fully fit, and even trained with the team in the last training session ahead of the clash with the German giants.

Messi has been included in the squad travelling to Signal Iduna Park by Ernesto Valverde ahead of the clash in Germany tomorrow night.
However, it seems Valverde will take precautionary measure with Messi’s fitness and might not add him in the starting lineup, and the Barcelona captain will probably get some action in the late minutes of the game.

Messi’s replacements during his absence- Ansu Fati and Carles Perez has also been included in the squad for the Champions League clash, which means either of the two will once again start ahead of Messi.
If this is opted by Valverde, then it is probably a good option to do, as a long season awaits ahead, and with Barcelona being in group of death they really need him in further rounds with full fitness. Hence, it would be wise if Messi is only used extensively when his fitness is fully fit.
Additionally, Fati and Perez can be trusted with the job against Borussia Dortmund, as both the players have proved their calibre in previous clashes for Barcelona in La Liga.
