Racing Point Force India could witness a change in personnel pretty soon, as Lawrence Stroll is determined to bring his son to his team as soon as possible.

With Stroll set to leave Williams, the vacant Williams seat has go a lot of F1 fans dreaming, as they can sense an F1 return for Robert Kubica.

Kubica had injured himself during a rally crash in 2011 and couldn’t really sustain his F1 career after that, as he had severely injured his arm during the crash.

But a reserve driver role with Williams this season had sparked interest in Kubica fans, as they expected Kubica to somehow make a ‘grid appearance’ sometime during the season(especially with those two young and inexperienced Williams drivers).

And well that wish has almost come true, as Claire Williams has (almost) confirmed that Kubica would be racing for Williams after the departure of Stroll.

“Lance is a racing driver and he wants to change teams,” Williams said to Speedweek.

“We do not know when, but he is likely to join Racing Point Force India after his father takes over.

“Formula One can rejoice that a man like Lawrence Stroll saves a team, we wish them both good luck. Nothing bad happens to us except that one driver leaves and another takes his place. If Lance Stroll really goes to Racing Point Force India, it is more than likely that Robert Kubica will take his place.” she added.

Stroll should be on the move sooner than later, as Racing Point Force India would want their 2019 driver to help with car development as well.
