It’s been a painful time for Williams fans over the last few years, with the team having suffered a massive fall from the heights that they were used to in F1.
Still the second most celebrated team in F1, Williams are hoping for that one breakthrough season that helps them get back to the helm of the sport.
With the new aerodynamic regulations kicking in from this season, Williams have worked hard on their 2019 challenger, so that the gap between them and the top 3 can bridged.
Claire Williams feels that the infrastructure in place at Williams will help the team rise back to the top and maybe even finish 4th this season.

“We’re still a team competing with a very healthy budget, we’re still a team competing with phenomenal resources at Williams, and we have a great team of people here,” Williams said as quoted by RACER.
“I don’t see why we aren’t able to fight back in that midfield and to fight for P4.” she added.
While the 2021 regulations could help Williams get back into the championship mix, Claire Williams feels that they are not sitting back and waiting for the new regulations.
“I don’t believe that we have to wait and that’s certainly not the mindset that we have here, that we’re just treading water until 2021,” she said.
“That’s a really important message that certainly we’ve relayed internally but to the outside world — that we’re here competing, we’re not just making up the numbers until the landscape changes to better suit us.” she added
With Robert Kubica coming into the mix, the team could finally have some much needed experience in their ranks. George Russell too would be hoping to put in an impressive shift in the 2019 season.
Exciting times ahead for Williams.
