Shaquille O’Neal has had a lot of success in his professional life but could not replicate the same in his personal life. After being married for nine years, Shaq divorced Shaunie Henderson in 2011, citing irreconcilable differences. His ex-wife remarried in 2022 and recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary. The Lakers superstar, on the other hand, is still single and recently shared a story of him gatecrashing a wedding.

Shaq and Shaunie are parents to five wonderful children, and despite the divorce, they are on good terms today. The NBA player blames himself for the separation while regretting the mistakes he made during the relationship. It’s been 12 years, and both have moved on, but Shaunie’s anniversary got Shaq thinking of weddings too.

However, this isn’t the first time Shaq crashed a wedding. In 2010, he was playing for the Boston Celtics and decided to surprise a Boston couple by crashing their wedding. He acted like a perfect gentleman, shredding his superstar personality and accepting photo requests from everyone present.

Shaquille O’Neal’s current relationship status

It’s been 12 years since his divorce in 2011, and Shaq has not been married again. There have been several dating rumors in the past couple of years, but none of them turned out to be anything serious for the big man. As per the latest, O’Neal is said to be dating Annie Ilonzeh.

The relationship with the American actress started in late 2022 and is rumored to be still going strong. In the past, Shaq was in a relationship with TV personality Nicole Alexander between 2010 -2012. He also dated model Laticia Rolle for four years between 2014-2018, but the relationship did not stick.
