“A black or brown person tries to do the same thing and those steps would be red”

“This is what happens when administrations cheat the system and the people”

Not everyone happened to be against the outgoing president however. There was one who somehow found a way to defend Donald Trump in the whole matter.

Earlier in the day, Trump called for his supporters to attend the rallies while repeating, without evidence, that he was cheated out of the office by fraudulent means. He falsely claimed that he had won and worked the crowd into doing what they would later end up doing.

A mob was able to breach security and successfully enter the building. While Sen. James Lankford was successfully escorted out of the building, a woman was fatally shot inside the building. At the moment, the circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear.

President elect, Biden condemned Trump for instigating the anarchy. He called on the “mob to pull back and allow the work of democracy to go forward.

A Citywide curfew has since been imposed banning anyone bar essential personnel outdoors from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.
