Sadly, news of his mother passing away emerged merely a few hours after the match.  SuperLuchas.com reported of WWE Superstar Andrade’s mother Juanis Oropeza’s passing away.

Junis’ sister posted a moving tribute on Facebook (Originally in Spanish).

“Today I feel dismayed, because wake up with the sad news that my sister Juanis Oropeza died. The ties that bind us between the Delgado family and Andrade family are very strong. I have always seen them as my family. God give sympathy to all the family. We’ll see each other there tomorrow, Juanis is already with Pepito, RIP We’ll miss you a lot.

Mexican promotion Arena Halcón Suriano also posted a Facebook message on her passing (Originally in Spanish):

“We join the grief and pain that our brothers of the Luchistica family, the Andrade Oropeza family and dynasty, are facing right now! For the sensitive death of the wife of teacher Joe Andrade and mother of the Gomez-Papal and world-order idol Andrade Hundred Souls, Mrs. Juanis Oropeza (RIP), take a hug with great affection and find consolation and hope through faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ! May God bless the whole family in these moments of trial and sorrow! We are with you!”

The SportsRush would like to offer our deepest condolences to Andrade’s family. We hope that they will be comforted with the outpouring of love surrounding them.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
