Adam Cole makes violent WWE NXT return

Adam Cole makes violent WWE NXT return. The former NXT Champion interrupted a number one contender’s match by attacking everyone involved.

WWE NXT opened tonight with a huge triple threat match between Kyle O’Reilly, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne. The winner would go on to face NXT Champion Karrion Kross in the main event of the “Takeover: In Your House 2021” on June 13.

The match delivered as expected  with the small crowd in the Capital Wrestling Center screaming “this is awesome”.

However,  it never came to a conclusion due to NXT’s longest reigning champion of all time interferring and bringing it to a screeching halt.

About 20 or so minutes into the match, Adam Cole interferred and took everyone down. He left after causing enough chaos courtesy a steel chair.

NXT General Manager William Regal brought security out and got Cole to leave but not before laid O’Reilly with a SuperKick.

This was Cole’s first appearance since losing the Unsanctioned Match to O’Reilly at “Takeover: Stand and Deliver” Night Two during WrestleMania 37 Weekend.

It is still unclear who will face Karrion Kross.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
