Brock Lesnar set to miss WWE SummerSlam

Is Brock Lesnar set to miss WWE SummerSlam? The WWE also seems to have scrapped 2 major matches from their second biggest show of the year.

Fans may be divided in their opinion of Brock Lesnar. The WWE however, seem more than convinced of their prized possession’s drawing power. It is for this reason that the promotion unleashes every time a Big 4 Pay per View comes around.

However, it seems that the WWE are contemplating not using his service this SummerSlam. Despite the biggest party of the summer also being their biggest show of the year only behind Wrestlemania, the WWE are considering not to add him on the Super Card.

Brock Lesnar set to miss WWE SummerSlam?

According to Wrestlevotes, Brock Lesnar will not make an appearance at Wrestlemania this year. The WWE does not want to waste his appearance on an event that won’t have any audience. They also mention that two major matches have been scrapped off the card. However, there is no word on what those two matches were.

The absence of fans means that this year’s edition of the SummerSlam is unlikely to be as profitable as its previous iterations. It makes sense for the WWE to want to fully capitalize on Brock Lesnar and delay his appearance until the fans can enter the stadium once again.

As far as the two scrapped matches go, it is likely that one of them was the blow off to Edge vs Randy Orton. The other is very possibly a Lesnar match. Perhaps a rematch against Drew McIntyre or even the long rumored match against Bobby Lashley.
