Christian vs Randy Orton at Extreme Rules? Raw will conclude with Captain Charisma being stretchered out of the building.

Backlash is done and dusted. The WWE now have their sights set on Extreme Rules which happens to be the next pay per view.  It appears that Vince McMahon has already chalked in his first match and it will be set in motion on Raw tonight.

WWE Backlash ended with Randy Orton defeating Edge after a glorious battle. The Rated-R superstar injured himself in the process. Orton opened RAW by gloating about the fact that he had not only beaten Edge but shut down his path of redemption.

This led to the return of Christian, who told Orton that Edge would get his redemption on his own terms. The Viper however, was more interested in battling Christian and challenged him to an unsanctioned match, giving him until the night to make a call.


Christian eventually accepted the challenge. However, it appears that the clash may not take place at all,

The match originally set up as Raw’s main event, could instead end up being the first match to be announced for the upcoming pay per view; Extreme Rules.

According to Fightful, Christian will be involved in a physical angle to close this week’s show.  The episode will conclude with him being stretchered out of the building.

While the report simply ends there, it is likely that this will lead to Christian vs randy Orton at Extreme Rules; considering an unsanctioned match actually fits the theme of the event.
