Christian makes WWE return setting up a potential match vs Randy Orton. The Viper won against Edge at Backlash in the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match Ever.’
Randy Orton opened WWE Raw just as was advertised. He spoke off his match against Edge at Backlash and claimed that he had embarrassed the rated-R Superstar and shut down his quest for redemption. He then joked that he was out of commission until July; July of 2029.

The speakers then blared a familiar song. Out came Edge’s closest friend Christian.
The former World Heavyweight champion wasted no time and called Orton a ‘cold, calculated SOB’. He then warned the Viper that Edge would get eventually get his closure on his own terms.

Orton then asked Christian if he was looking for one more match and offered him a chance to throw hands with him in an unsanctioned match. The Viper then left before claiming Christian would be a coward if he rejected the match.
It is likely that Christian will accept the offer. The match will somehow set up an encounter at, you guessed it, WWE Extreme Rules. However, there could be some twists and turns along the way before we get there. It’s best if we just wait and watch this one.
