Chance encounter at Daytona 500 leaves The Rock “grateful”

Dwayne Johnson, because of his personality and charming onscreen presence, is a top name in Hollywood. His charisma has also led to him hosting several shows over the years. In fact, the WWE Icon has hosted the famous sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live” five times. However, in one of those appearances, he ended up doing a rather weird sketch. Dwayne Johnson presented his most evil science invention, a Child-Molesting Robot.

The wrestler-turned-actor is not a stranger when it comes to playing comic roles onscreen. By starring in movies like Central Intelligence and Jumanji, Johnson has proven himself as a bankable comedy actor. However, his skit on the Season 42 finale of SNL wasn’t funny because it joked about child molestation.

Dwayne Johnson made fun of child abuse with his Child-Molesting Robot sketch

The May 20, 2017, episode of Saturday Night Live saw a group of mad scientists trying to outshine each other. All of them were presenting their most evil inventions to end the world. While others’ invented were things like a shrink ray or a freeze ray, Dwayne Johnson brought a child-molesting robot.

The Great One came in at #3 as “Roy” and introduced his RoboChoMo. His most evil invention was a robot that worked on solar rechargeable fuel cells. Theoretically, the invention could molest twice as many children as a human molester in half the time.

All the other contenders were shocked to see Dwayne Johnson presenting a Child-Molesting Robot. They found the invention inappropriate and threatened to call the police.

Well, the entire sketch was made and performed with no ill intentions other than humor. But Dwayne Johnson endorsing a child-molesting robot, wasn’t received well by everyone. Many criticized him for poking fun at a sensitive topic like child abuse. Thankfully, that didn’t turn into a big controversy, but people were certainly displeased.

The Hollywood Megastar recently revealed that he is working on a big Disney movie meant for kids

Other than the above incident, Dwayne Johnson hasn’t done anything on or offscreen that might offend his fans. Over the years, he has been a part of many kid-centric movies. Last year, he starred in the animated superhero comedy film, DC League of Super-Pets.

The Great One, in fact, is collaborating with Disney to make a live adaptation of the 2016 hit movie Moana. Last month, Johnson shared the big news with his fans and expressed how excited he is.
