Xavier Woods reveals who owns UpUpDownDown and why they aren’t on Twitch

Xavier Woods reveals who owns UpUpDownDown and why they aren’t on Twitch. Woods is just as well known for the popular video game channel as he is for wrestling.

The UpUpDownDown YouTube channel is beloved by fans because it has allowed fans to see their favorite superstars in a different light than the ones they are used to seeing inside a WWE ring. The video game centric channel has been a fun platform for both the fans and the performers.

However, at a time when the WWE instructed its performers to keep away from third party platforms, the UpUpDownDown channel was continued to operate. If you’ve ever wondered why that’s so, Xavier Woods is here to clarify the situation for you.

Taking to Twitter, the New Day member explained that the gaming channel belonged to WWE. He also told fans that the reason they weren’t on Twitch was because the WWE hadn’t given them permission yet.

“For those who have asked, @UpUpDwnDwn is owned by WWE and always has been,” Woods tweeted. “Hence why we are allowed to stream on that platform. Unfortunately, at this point in time, we are not allowed to be on twitch but hopefully we are given permission at some point. Hope that clears it up!”

UUDD was launched in 2015 and today it sits at 2.26 million subscribers on YouTube.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
