WWE star says he will give Conor McGregor the fight of his life. He also believes that the UFC star will eventually join the WWE.
Several celebrities have stepped inside the squared circle at WWE including UFC legends such as Dan Severn, Ken Shamrock and Ronda Rousey. Fans have long wanted to see Conor McGregor join the list. That may take a while, however, WWE star Sheamus has promised his compatriot that he will give him the fight of his life if he does so.

While speaking with Digital Spy, Sheamus said that he would love to see McGregor in the WWE. He claimed that no eyebrows will be raised if he does so, citing that even legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather has taken to the ring in the WWE.

“He’s teased [coming to WWE] a couple of times,” Sheamus said. “He’s still staying active, he’s a lad who’s won belts, he’s done a lot, so I think he’s that type of person who’s always trying to try his hand at something different. I think WWE would suit him down to the ground.
“You know, we’ve had a lot of people come in and out, [Floyd] Mayweather came in, a lot of celebrities have come in, a lot of sports people. So I don’t think anyone would raise eyebrows if he came in to WWE. I don’t think it’s if, I think it’s a matter of when to be honest.”
“If he wants to come in there with me, that’s grand. He might get the fight of his life there; he might get couple of slaps he’s not used to. But that’s what it’s all about, getting in there and seeing a different type of environment.”
Conor McGregor is scheduled to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 257. He has sworn his allegiance to the sport and has stated that he will continue to fight in the UFC as long as he can, However, one can never say never. Who knows one day the Notorious may turn out for the promotion? Even if it’s only a one off.
