Who will Roman Reigns face at Wrestlemania 37

Who will Roman Reigns face at Wrestlemania 37: WWE are yet to decide between two Superstars that they’ve shortlisted for the Tribal Chief.

Wresrtlemania is WWE’s biggest show of the year. Naturally, they save their high profile matches and feuds for their biggest acts heading into the event. That name would be Roman Reigns this year with his heel turn. However, despite commanding the majority of the focus on the Blue brand, it is still not clear what the WWE have planned for him this mania.

It was speculated that he would face the Rock. It made perfect sense especially since he was calling himself the Tribal Chief and Head of the table. However, that match is now off the table (pun intended) with Wrestlemania moving out of Hollywood.

Who will Roman Reigns face at Wrestlemania 37?

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE currently have two people in mind for Roman Reigns. One of them is Daniel Bryan. They however, did not name who the other is although they did mention that this other person was not Shinsuke Nakamura.

“On Smackdown, Reigns has two different opponents that are being considered so Bryan is not a lock and at least as of this past week, Nakamura was not one of the two under consideration as of last week, even after the gauntlet,” the report read.

There is some speculation that the WWE will have Goldberg face Roman Reigns at Mania. This was a match they wanted to take place last year. However, Reigns withdrew from the match following the pandemic. He has since returned and with a change in alignment this will be an easier match to book now that there is a clear heel and face in their dynamic.

Daniel Bryan also makes a good case for himself. Unlike Goldberg who has received waves of criticism from fans in the recent past, Bryan is a beloved baby face. He has also never won the Royal Rumble. Doing so would not only add to his achievements but take him to the dream match. He has been chasing his revenge to no avail for some time after all.

The WWE could even go a whole other direction and bring in someone new at the very last moment. At this moment however, Bryan makes the most sense.

Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
