Sasha Banks reveals who her dream opponent is

“It’s a dream match of mine”: Sasha Banks reveals who her dream opponent is. The SmackDown women’s champion has had an amazing year.

2020 has been far from ideal for anyone. One person however, who has managed to find her wings among the ruins and soar above everyone else is Sasha Banks. The Boss is the only women to win all three WWE main roster titles in the same calendar year.

She also put to rest a personal ghost when she beat Bayley last week to successfully defend the SmackDown Women’s championship. This was the first singles title defence she succeeded in during her time on the main roster.

The Boss has achieved a lot in the WWE for someone so young. However, she is far from done in the promotion and wants more off the same.

“I cannot believe the year that I’ve had so far, but I had put it out the last year,” Banks told BT Sport. “I said 2020 was going to be my year, and I manifested it. And I fought for my dreams. I chased after my dreams.

“I went after my goals, and I did a lot of brave things and things that were just like AHHHH! Can I do it? Is it possible? And I was like, have all your dreams been possible? Yeah, alright. More to come. Now, 2021, I want the same thing. I’m going to manifest the same thing, so it’s crazy. It’s true. My whole career has been incredible.”

“I’m only 28 and I’ve done so much already, but just within this year I’ve held every single title except for the NXT one and the NXT UK one. So, Kay Lee Ray, I got a private jet sweetie, I’m making millions. I don’t mind flying over there. Or we can meet halfway. I can buy an island. I’m that rich. I don’t mind snatching that [NXT UK women’s title] from her because that’s a nice little dream match of mine.”

The match is unlikely to happen anytime soon considering the pandemic. However, given her current status in the WWE, a shoutout from her will undoubtedly do wonders for Kay Lee Ray, who while talented, is not nearly prolific as the boss.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
