Former WWE star Marty Jannetty is currently being investigated by police for his alleged murder confession on social media.
Former WWE (then WWF) star and one half of The Rockers alongside wrestling legend Shawn Michaels, seemingly confessed to a murder in a facebook post he has since deleted. Jannetty chilling narrated the story of how he took the life of a man when he was only 13 and hinted that it was not the only time he killed someone.

What is more worrying about the post is that, it is dedicated to a woman named Winnie; and is possibly meant as a warning to her.
A look at his profile shows that he is no stranger to often making bold and controversial claims. This story in particular could just be an act of bravado; a last gasp attempt of a former wrestling star trying to come across as a tough man.
That however, hasn’t stopped the Columbus, Georgia, police department from looking into his claims.
Marty Jannetty investigated by police for alleged murder confession
According to TMZ, the Columbus, Georgia, police department are investigating the matter. Jannetty, claims to be 13 when he committed the murder. He is currently 60, which means that the crime in question would have happened in 1973. They are looking to see if the story links up with any homicides or missing-person reports from around that time period
This isn’t the first time he has courted controversy on social media. He went viral 3-years back in 2017 for asking if he could have sexual relations with a woman he long thought was his daughter but was later proven to not be his daughter through DNA testing. He later claimed that his account had been hacked.
It remains to be seen what happens in the matter. It however, doesn’t look like it will end well for a man who was once the most exciting thing in the world of wrestling.
