Monday Night RAW Spoilers Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion set to return

Monday Night RAW Spoilers: Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion set to return on WWE Television later in the night.

The top story in the Women’s heading into this week’s episode of Monday night RAW is still Asuka and Sasha Banks. The pair are set to have a rematch for the RAW Women’s title after a confusing and overbooked finish at Extreme Rules.

However, it seems that the division will be injected with a return heading into SummerSlam in less than a month. PWInsider Elite have dropped some Monday Night RAW Spoilers regarding who this person is although nothing else has been mentioned beyond the name.

Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion set to return

Nia Jax has been confirmed to return by the aforementioned source. There is no mention of her storyline direction. However, the fact that she herself had a screwy finish against Asuka in her last match could perhaps come into play as the WWE begin preparations for SummerSlam.

In her last match, Jax fought Asuka for the RAW women’s Championship. During the match, she got into an altercation with John Cone after the referee refused to count the pinfall on account of Asuka’s foot being under the rope.

This would irk Jax, who would go on to shove Cone.  It seemed that the referee would disqualify Jax for laying her hands on her. However, following a roll up by Asuka, Cone seemed more than eager to make the 3-count; so much so, that he appeared to make a fast count.

With Charlotte and Becky out for a while, could it be that the WWE are setting up Nia for a SummerSlam rematch? Or perhaps even a triple threat encounter also involving Banks? All these questions and more will be answered in the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.
