Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs Asuka and Lana announced for the Women’s Tag Team Title at WWE TLC. The two teams have faced each twice in two weeks now.

She won a battle royal to earn the right to face Asuka. She then won her place in the RAW Women’s Team at Survivor Series and came out of it as the sole survivor. She has now teamed up with Asuka and has now found herself in another title match. This time for the Women’s Tag Team titles.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler vs Asuka and Lana announced for the Women’s Tag Team Title at WWE TLC

Asuka and Lana have teamed up twice to beat the tag team champions and have earned the right to face them for the titles at WWE TLC.

This is brilliant booking that could bring an end to some storylines and start new ones.

By making Shayna and Nia their tag team champions, the WWE have left their singles division barren leaving Asuka without credible opponents to face. They have also made them look so dominating that it is hard to believe that any other team could legitimately beat them.

Asuka’s presence on the team gives them the credibility for the win. This will free up Shayna and Nia as singles competitor. Also, a defeat would serve as comeuppance for the latter who has tortured Lana for several weeks before.

They could then use Lana to drop the titles to an actual tag team without hurting anyone involved.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
