“Only one of us is still relevant” – Paul Heyman takes a shot at Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff on Talking Smack
Paul Heyman takes a shot at Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff on this week’s episode of Talking Smack on the WWE Network.
Paul Heyman has been with the WWE for so long, he is essentially considered a legend of the promotion now. However, he earned his name and fame with ECW before heading to Vince McMahon’s company. Eric Bischoff with WCW, was the other big promoter of the 90’s.

The three managed the three biggest wrestling shows of that decade. Today only the WWE remains, and Bischoff is now part of the company’s Hall of Fame. Heyman, talking on this week’s episode of Talking Smack, showered his old rival with praise before jokingly taking a dig at him and Vince as well.

Heyman called Bischoff’s induction as long overdue and well earned and congratulated his entry into it. However, he went on to point out that off the the three men that ruled wrestling in the 90’s, he was the only who still regularly featured on television.
“I would like to add, however, that if you look back in history – and I don’t do that often – that the 1990s in this industry were ruled by Eric Bischoff, Paul Heyman, and Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and only one of us is still relevant enough to be on television each and every week. On top… in the main event of WrestleMania… with the biggest star in the industry… the champ, Roman Reigns. Next!”
