Sasha Banks looks to make history at WWE Elimination Chamber 2021

Sasha Banks looks to make history at WWE Elimination Chamber 2021. The Pay Per View will take place this Sunday.

Sasha Banks had a phenomenal 2020. She became the first wrestler to win the RAW, SmackDown and Women’s Tag Team Championships in the very same year. In the process, she became the third Women’s Grand Slam Champion. Most important however, was her first successful title defence on the main roster.

She is still in the middle of her reign with the SmackDown Women’s Championship. That however, isn’t stopping her from pursuing more gold. The Boss will team up with possible Wrestlemania opponent Bianca Belair for a chance at the Women’s tag titles against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

If Banks triumphs with Belair this Sunday, she will become the first woman to win the tag titles three times. She will also become the first 2-time female double champion. The Boss won the title twice with Bayley. Once in 2019 and last year.

During their second reign with the tag titles, both Bayley and Banks became double champions. Bayley carried the SmackDown Women’s Champion while Banks wore the Raw Women’s Championship. She now has the opportunity to do so once again with the EST of WWE.

Various reports suggest that Belair will take on Banks at Wrestlemania and a title win on Sunday could provide a new dynamic to their feud.

Interestingly, Lana and Naomi won the number one contender’s match for the tag titles on RAW a few weeks back. Since then, Jax and Baszler have scheduled matches with teams from SmackDown and NXT while there is yet to be any progress on Lana and Naomi’s championship opportunity.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
