Survivor Series 2020 spoilers: What matches will open and close the show tonight at the Survivor Series pay per view event?
The main event is the most important match in a show. A brilliant main event can lift a mediocre show. On the other hand, a terrible one can ruin an otherwise good show and leave a bitter taste in its viewer’s mouth. It is safe to say that this is the most coveted spot in wrestling.

With just one main event per match, there are only so many wrestlers who can wrestle there. The next best slot then becomes the opening match. Wrestlers are often told to aim for the main event or the 1st match of the night.
The first match of the night helps set the tone of the show. A great opener keeps the fans buzzing for the rest of the event. A bad one will only leave the fans disgruntled and will put the entire show on the backfoot right off the bat.
What matches will open and close the show at Survivor Series tonight?
The WWE are notorious for changing their plans at the very last minute. However, as things stand now, it appears that Vince McMahon has already made his mind on the first and last matches of tonight’s Survivor Series pay per view.
We have a few Survivor Series 2020 spoilers by way of Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select. According to him, the Men’s RAW vs SmackDown Survivor Series match will open the show tonight. There were discussions regarding Undertaker’s farewell closing the show. In the end, however, that honor seems to have gone to the match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

The Men’s Survivor Series match consists of AJ Styles, Riddle, Braun Strowman, Keith Lee and Sheamus representing RAW while the SmackDown team features Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, King Corbin and Otis.

Reigns vs McIntyre will pit two of Vince’s chosen ones go head to head in action. The Universal and WWE Champions are at the hottest they’ve ever been at any stages of their career and this is one that could set the stone for future matches dubbed the new ‘Stone Cold vs Rock’ by Triple H.
