The event is set to feature big names like Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, and more. In fact, the host of the show will be none other than the hometown boy Bad Bunny. A recent report by Wrestling Blog has provided some big spoilers regarding the main event of WWE Backlash 2023.

This year’s match card for the Backlash pay-per-view includes a big match between The American Nightmare and The Beast Incarnate. Both women’s world titles and the US Title will also be on the line. Even the host is going to be in action against his former tag team partner in a “San Juan Street Fight”.

According to early spoilers, Cody Rhodes versus Brock Lesnar was the first choice to headline WWE Backlash 2023. In fact, that was rumored to be the reason why Roman Reigns wasn’t booked for the show. However, it seems the dream match is going to get placed somewhere else on the card.

WrestlingBlog, through a recent Tweet, provided some latest spoilers about the main event of WWE Backlash 2023. The report claimed instead of Cody vs. Brock, the “San Juan Street Fight” between Bad Bunny and Damian Priest might headline the show.

Although WrestlingBlog could get an official confirmation, it did note that the talks for Bunny vs. Priest are on high levels. The report also confirmed the early spoilers that said Cody and Brock were going to close WWE Backlash 2023.

Well, Bad Bunny is a big name across the globe, and booking him in the main event of a show taking place in his hometown, won’t be a bad decision. Besides, the 3-time Grammy Award winner has proven his worth in the WWE ring more than once.
