Ken Shamrock helped build The Rock
The Rock and Ken Shamrock faced each other several times in 1998 while they were a part of the WWE. The two faced each other on that year’s Royal Rumble, King of the Ring, Wrestlemania and Survivor Series.
:I’d like to think that me and The Rock were – at the time when we were working those programs, we had put on matches that were just as good as some of the top guys’ matches, and it was because our chemistry was so good together,” Shamrock had said last year.
The Rock also took to Twitter to show his appreciation for the UFC Hall of Famer, thanking him for helping build “The Rock” character.
“@ShamrockKen helped build “The Rock” character,” he wrote. “Huge #AttitudeEra influence. We tore the houses down together. I’ll always be grateful and respectful. He’s a f machine. They don’t make em like that anymore. Thanks for the house brother Ken”
