Aleister Black reveals his reaction to WWE releasing Zelina  Vega. Vega was let go due to her non compliance with their edict regarding third party apps.

Last year WWE introduced a policy banning their performers from interacting with third party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo. Zelina Vega, maintained her OnlyFans, a third party platform account, regardless and was eventually fired from the promotion because of it.

“Two weeks before I came back and hit Big E, I sat down with Vince and he was like, ‘Are you ready?’ One week later, I’m sitting in the gym and I see a name on the phone calling me. It was a distinct voice and this person also didn’t understand why I was let go. It was a sense of relief.

“They let my wife go, under reasons that are questionable. Everything got sorted out and is fine, but they called me and said, ‘We understand this is putting you in a tough spot.’ Nope, this is my career, I spoke about it with her and this is business between you and her. Does Tom, her husband have an opinion on it? Sure. Does Aleister Black the professional? Nope. He’s ready to go to work and create. She agreed.”

Black will make his first post WWE appearance on Saturday, November 13 in East Elmhurst, NY, from the LaGuardia Airport Marriott. He won’t be wrestling, but he will be signing autographs and taking pictures for the event. Combo tickets for this signing are $70, which includes a photo with Black, and an autographed item that you bring.

Vega on the other hand, is reportedly in line for a return to WWE NXT. It will be interesting to see how her second run with the promotion fares.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
