“They let my wife go, under reasons that are questionable” – Aleister Black reveals his reaction to WWE releasing Zelina Vega
Aleister Black reveals his reaction to WWE releasing Zelina Vega. Vega was let go due to her non compliance with their edict regarding third party apps.
Last year WWE introduced a policy banning their performers from interacting with third party platforms such as Twitch and Cameo. Zelina Vega, maintained her OnlyFans, a third party platform account, regardless and was eventually fired from the promotion because of it.
Her husband, Aleister Black, who was recently let go by the promotion, has finally revealed his reaction to his wife’s departure from the company. While speaking with Renee Paquette on Oral Sessions, he called the firing ‘questionable’ but added that it was between the company and Zelina Vega.

“Two weeks before I came back and hit Big E, I sat down with Vince and he was like, ‘Are you ready?’ One week later, I’m sitting in the gym and I see a name on the phone calling me. It was a distinct voice and this person also didn’t understand why I was let go. It was a sense of relief.
“They let my wife go, under reasons that are questionable. Everything got sorted out and is fine, but they called me and said, ‘We understand this is putting you in a tough spot.’ Nope, this is my career, I spoke about it with her and this is business between you and her. Does Tom, her husband have an opinion on it? Sure. Does Aleister Black the professional? Nope. He’s ready to go to work and create. She agreed.”
Black will make his first post WWE appearance on Saturday, November 13 in East Elmhurst, NY, from the LaGuardia Airport Marriott. He won’t be wrestling, but he will be signing autographs and taking pictures for the event. Combo tickets for this signing are $70, which includes a photo with Black, and an autographed item that you bring.
Vega on the other hand, is reportedly in line for a return to WWE NXT. It will be interesting to see how her second run with the promotion fares.
