Which SmackDown Star will likely face Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber? The Universal Championship will be defended on the PPV itself.
With a little bit of help from Paul Heyman, Roman Reigns managed to avoid defending his Universal Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. The match will still take place though with the winner earning the right to face the Tribal Chief.

The title match will take place on the very same night. This means that the Universal Champion will hold all the advantage taking on a tired opponent. That however, will not deter the six competitors to give it their best though.
Which SmackDown Star will likely face Roman Reigns at WWE Elimination Chamber?
The Elimination Chamber match will feature Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Jey Uso. Many have assumed that Bryan will come out on top to set up his feud with Reigns. The WWE have heavily hinted at the match. However, it seems that Cesaro may get the nod ahead of him according to Dave Meltzer.
“They’ve been trying to feature Cesaro of late. It is notable that they made Shinsuke Nakamura into a babyface star in the gauntlet and didn’t use him here, choosing Cesaro, who was originally to be the star of the gauntlet until that was changed because he hadn’t signed a new deal.
“There had been talk of Reigns vs. Bryan since Reigns’ return, but with Bryan losing so often, it would make sense to do the match, since it would be great, without a build just to get it done.”
Regardless of who wins the Elimination Chamber match, it is unlikely that Reigns will be dethroned at Elimination Chamber. If Cesaro does win though, we will at least have an entertaining match and a world title opportunity for a man who has toiled for little to no rewards in singles action.
