WWE News: WWE backstage reactions to Jon Moxley’s ‘Talk is Jericho’ interview. Wrestlers and writers speak up on the unhinged superstar’s revelations and divulgences.

Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose in the WWE, made the headlines last week after his appearance at the ‘Talk is Jericho Podcast‘. The former WWE champion talked about his frustrations in Vince’s circus and bared his heart out. It seems that the wrestlers and writers in WWE share the sentiments and wholeheartedly agree with Moxley.

Fightful.com have reported that wrestlers backstage are worried they’ll end up in the same boat as Moxley, creatively. One wrestler even said that they reach the point of physical nausea when they get to TV every week.

Many backstage are of the agreement that Moxley’s words hold more water than that of Cm Punk’s; during his interview with Colt Cabana back in 2014. They are glad that the story is finally out there.

One Wrestler even went through the trouble of contacting them to tell them that if things don’t improve, they’ll be leaving the company once their contract runs down. None of the blame for the creative failure was put on the writers though.

Fightful reported:

“The wrestler said that McMahon has built an infrastructure that makes him tough to gain access to, with writers and producers that fear for their jobs and subsequently don’t provide as much constructive criticism as they should.”

Conclusion

With so much in the news about Vince McMahon’s micromanagement, wrestlers and fans will be hoping that this will lead to a change from Vince on how he handles his company. However, if past stories and interviews have shown us anything, it’s that Vince is a stubborn mule. He would rather make a dollar his way, than make a million dollars someone else’s way. For Christ’s sake he’s still pushing the XFL despite failing miserably 18 years back.
