WWE Hall of Famer compares Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair’s Wrestlemania moment to Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant at Wrestlemania 3.
Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair fought a historic match at Wrestlemania 37. The match receieved widespread praise for both the in ring action and the moment that took place right before it. Bianca and Belair fought the tears before squaring up as the crowd applauded both the women in the main event of night 1.

Bully Ray, known as Bubba Ray Dudley in the WWE, was all praise for the Women’s division. While he spoke highly of all three new Women’s Champions coming out of Wrestlemania week, he reserved the highest praise for Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks during his interview on WWE’s The Bump,.

“I looked at girls who became women. I watched rookies who became champions. It was great to see Bianca, Raquel and Rhea all achieve victories over WrestleMania week.”
“Look at Sasha and Bianca face-to-face. I’m going to make a crazy comparison here about another WrestleMania moment. But think about Andre and Hogan face-to-face, soaking it all in. I wish they would have stayed there just a little bit longer, but that moment is going to stand out to me from this year’s WrestleMania.”
The comparision is surprising but it certainly was a Wrestlemania moment that will be spoken of in the years to come. Just like Hogan vs Andre, Banks vs Belair will be a very important part of WWE’s history; one that will likely grace the highlights on several videos in the future.
