WWE RAW Women’s Championship match set for next week

The Championship match was announced on WWE RAW tonight. Before going face to face however, the two women had to tag against Lana and Natalya. The pair of Lana and Natalya have been going up against Mickey for a while now. This time however, James had the RAW Women’s champion by her side.

The pair seemed to let their egos get the better of them early in the match which allowed Natalya and Lana to get the upperhand early on. The pair began working over James. However, the veteran managed to hot tag Asuka in for the comeback.

Asuka and James won after Lana tapped to an Asuka lock while James stopped Natalya from breaking the hold.

The two will now go from sharing a corner to standing on opposites corner next week. They have faced each other once before in NXT when Asuka successfully defended her NXT Women’s championship. This will be their first singles match against each other on the main roster.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
