Former Women’s and Divas Champion Mickey James will make her return on WWE RAW tonight. This will be her first appearance in over a year.
The WWE have announced the return of Mickey James. The female legend will feature on tonight’s episode of WWE RAW. This will be her first appearance in the promotion in over a year. She has been out of action since June 2019 when she suffered a serious knee injury in a match against Carmella.

It was later reported that she had suffered a torn ACL. James underwent a successful knee injury and has been out of action ever since. She was sometimes used as a color commentator during her rehabilitation. Tonight however, will be her actual return on WWE TV as an in ring performer.

The return would have been served better as a surprise. However, considering WWE’s battle with record low ratings, the announcement is understandable.
Mickey James is one of the most accomplished names in the world of wrestling. She won her first WWE Women’s Championship against Trish Stratus at Wrestlemania 22 in her very first year in the company.
Their feud saw James turn from an obsessed fan to a psycho bent on torturing the person she once adored. That storyline is one of the best to have been produced by the promotion and is still talked about years later.
James became a bona fide star within the promotion and captured the Women’s title 5 times and the Divas Championship once.
James was released by the WWE in 2010. She went back to the Independent Circuit before signing with the likes of TNA and Global Force Wrestling where she added more titles and accolades to her name.
James made an appearance at NXT to face Asuka. The veteran performer lost the match but was handed a multi-year contract by the WWE where she teamed up with Alexa Bliss for most of her second run with the company.
It will be interesting to see what the WWE have in store for James tonight and how do they plan to go forward with their character.
