While the WWE have given no explanation regarding the disappearance of the PPV from the Network, they are aware of the situation and are currently working on it. Heel By Nature shared screenshots of a conversation between them and promotion where they’ve promised to make the content available again but have not provided any time frame.

It is being speculated that the PPV was removed due to a lawsuit filed against them in 2013. Anthony Lawrence Dash sued Floyd Mayweather over the entrance music he used at WrestleMania. Mayweather used a track that Dash said contained his beats that were used without permission.

The case was dismissed when he couldn’t prove if Mayweather or WWE made money off of the music. However, perhaps the WWE are looking to avoid any problems. It will be interesting to see what music Mayweather walks out to when they reupload Wrestlemania 24.

Apart from Mayweather’s match against Big Show, the PPV also featured Ric Flair’s WWE swansong against Shawn Michaels and the main event of Undertaker vs Edge.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
