WWE News: WWE Superstar Rusev takes a Jibe at WWE following the news Seth and Becky dating. The Bulgarian Brute has not forgotten the treatment meted to him by management in the past.
The Wrestling world is buzzing with the news of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch dating. A horde of fans and wrestling stars congratulating the new couple and wishing them happiness. Even the WWE embraced the relationship by writing about it on their website. However, one wrestler took the opportunity to call out WWE on his mistreatment in the past.

Former United States Champion Rusev took to Twitter to reference the heat he got for making his own relationship public.

Back in 2015, Lana was in an on-screen relationship with Dolph Ziggler and Rusev was with Summer Rae. However, Rusev would go on to propose real life girlfriend Lana in the backyard of his home. Lana then posted the picture of her engagement ring on social media. This irked Vince as it messed up the storyline. As a punishment, Rusev would go on to have a losing streak of sorts and lost his credibility. This was despite the fact that fans today have learned to differentiate fact from fiction today.
In all fairness to the WWE, in storyline Summer Rae had proposed to Rusev the same week as Rusev proposed Lana. However the story would have broken out anyway. Seth and Becky are not involved in a romantic storyline with anyone. The fact that both of them are champion and top stars also helps.
In conclusion though, the punishment given to Rusev did not fit the crime and him being upset at the double standard is in fact quite understandable.
