Shinsuke Nakamura Imperium FIFA World Cup

We are three weeks into the world’s most giant sporting spectacle, FIFA World Cup 2022. Emanating from Qatar, the World Cup has proven to be full of surprises so far. Former Champion Germany’s elimination from the game has shocked the world. Japan, hardly considered an actual contender in the tournament, pulled off the unthinkable when they beat both Spain and Germany.

The largest global event is being rejoiced by fans around the world. Even celebrities and athletes from different sports fields are hooked to the action.

WWE superstar Shinsuke Nakamura, who is from Japan, is having a whale of a time at the expense of other WWE superstars who are rooting for other major football teams.

While Japan’s unexpected win over the favorites is being celebrated by some in the locker room, others are not very excited about it.

Shinsuke Nakamura captures the response of Imperium as Japan continues to dominate FIFA World Cup 2022

The victory of Japan over Spain and Germany in the FIFA World Cup was met with great adulation from Japanese fans and Japanese wrestlers in WWE. After Japan’s surprising 2-1 win over Spain, Asuka and Nakamura took to their social media to express their joy.

Japan’s win over Spain and Germany resulted in Germany’s elimination from the tournament. While the Asian wrestlers celebrated, the European wrestlers grieved.

In the picture captured by Nakamura, Gunther is seen flipping the bird on camera, and his stable mate Ludwig Kaiser was seen making a sulking face. Ludwig’s reaction is justified as he is a German but, Gunther is an Austrian. This could mean that the Ring General was rooting for his fellow European team.

Japan’s current status in the FIFA World Cup

Germany’s 4-2 win over Costa Rica wasn’t enough for them to remain in the World Cup knockouts after Japan’s shocking upset win over Spain.

Despite beating Costa Rica, the German National Team is now eliminated from the tournament. Spain, on the other hand, barely made it through to the next round despite conceding a 2-1 defeat to Japan.

Japan has advanced as the winner of the World Cup from Group E. It remains to be seen how Japan will fare against Croatia in their next match in the round of 16 on December 5th.
