According to former WWE writer Kazeen Famuyide, there is word going around that the WWE are planning a stadium show in Puerto Rico before WrestleMania 39. This event, most likely a pay per view, will be headlined by a tag team match pitting Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio against Rey Mysterio who will team up with, you guessed it, Bad Bunny.

This match will be the catalyst for a rivalry between the Rapper and his tag team partner’s son who will have a go at each other at the biggest show of the year. Famuyide also mentioned that the plans could change due to Rey Mysterio’s legitimate injury.

It is important to note that Triple H did mention in a press conference after Survivor Series that a show in Puerto Rico was an actual possibility.

Bad Bunny teamed up with Damien Priest to face The Miz and John Morrison. The rapper was trained by Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak for the event. He received applause for his performance and is still considered by many as the standard bearer for celebrity appearances.

Talking about the rapper’s first day of practice, Pearce said the following to Billboard:

Pearce also revealed that he was interested to see how Bad Bunny would react to goofing up.

“When you take your first steps in any journey, you’re going to goof up. I wanted to look him in the eye and see how he was going to react to that. But he never quits. He always says, ‘Let’s do it again.’ He’s all in. You can’t teach that.”
